Conference Architecture - Film - Sound
Architecture as spatial art is experienced through motion. If the film medium takes on this task, architecture becomes fleeting, immaterial, fragmented and variable in size. At the interface of art, music, film and media studies, the conference wants to ask how architectural experience can be optimized, channeled and interpreted in its cinematic and acoustic exploration, whether the temporal arts have developed topical figures of spatial interpretation and to what extent they have cultivated and theorized structural correspondences of architecture, film and music (composition, montage, etc.).
